Webinars
Our webinar programme covers all aspects of business law, with the emphasis on giving delegates a commercially focused view of new trends, developments and regulations.
A webinar is a web-based seminar, transmitted from our offices to the attendee's computer. Attendees listen to the presenter over the telephone and can ask questions by typing them on their keyboard.
Each of our webinars will usually last one hour including polling questions and time for individual questions posted by attendees. Each webinar will be recorded and the slides and any other reference material will be published on our website.
Speechly Bircham webinars are accredited by The Law Society and delegates will qualify for one CPD hour for each webinar attended.

In this webinar, employment partner, Emma Bartlett will take you through the key changes to discrimination legislation resulting from the Equality Act 2010 which comes into force in October 2010. We will give practical advice on how employers will need to respond to the new provisions, including what changes to policies will be required and what questions can be asked of candidates on disability and health.
The EHRC guidance on the Equality Act will also be available from September. Therefore, even if you've attended a seminar on the Act already, this one will bring you right up to date.
