This year’s Thames Gateway Forum – the 5th annual event for Europe’s largest regeneration project – is focusing on investment, action and delivery in the Thames Gateway during the current climate. The conference brings together the heads of real estate, developers and investors with cabinet ministers and members of the UK Government, all seeking to discover the opportunities the Thames Gateway can present.
The forum will be radically different from previous years, having a new location – the 02 – and a new format – one main conference stream where the highest calibre speakers address the entire audience.
Speechly Bircham is proud to sponsor the forum alongside other partners including Barratt Homes, Land Securities, the Homes & Communities Agency and Drivers Jonas.
Our Regeneration Team is recognised as one of the most experienced in this field and continues to advise on some of the largest and most complex schemes in the country. The firm has developed a niche reputation for project work in areas of urban renewal, regeneration and mixed-use development in the Thames Gateway.
Skilled to address every stage of a regeneration project from appraisal to disposal, we advise on all matters including planning, environmental and infrastructure issues, sustainability, financing, construction, tax and letting and disposal processes, including plot sales. We work with clients from both the public and private sectors, including landowners, developers, housebuilders, public authorities, housing association, investors and banks.
Lawyers from our Regeneration and Development teams will be attending the conference and we welcome delegates to join us in the networking lounge or we can arrange one-to-one meetings, please contact Duncan Salmon.
We will also be available at the conference to meet journalists to discuss our experience and involvement in the Gateway.
