City law firm Speechly Bircham has acted for AE Global Investment Solutions Ltd (Aegis) on the launch of the fourth note issuance under the Cavendish Opportunity Investments Limited €1 billion Multi-Issuer Secured Note Programme.
Aegis established the Programme in July 2008. The fourth Programme issuance, which closed on 12 July 2010, comprises €53.2 million of Series 4 Participating Notes due 2016 and brings the aggregate principal amount of notes issued under the Programme to date to c.€313 million. The proceeds of each issuance are applied towards the acquisition of a portfolio of European asset-backed securities (ABS).
The Programme and the Notes are listed on the Irish Stock Exchange.
Aegis acted as the arranger in respect of the Series 4 Participating Notes and acts as the collateral manager of the portfolio in connection with each Programme issuance.
