City law firm Speechly Bircham is delighted to announce the promotion of three solicitors to the partnership with effect from 1 May 2010.
Helena Luckhurst (Private Client): Helena advises on a wide range of tax, succession and wealth protection planning solutions for UK and non-UK domiciled individuals resident in the UK, often including the use of sophisticated Wills, trusts and deeds of variation. She also advises clients facing mental capacity issues, including the use of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.
James Souter (Real Estate Litigation): James specialises in all disputes relating to the use and occupation of land and acts for clients ranging from high net worth individuals to international banks and financial institutions. He has considerable experience acting for clients in the higher courts and specialist leasehold valuation and land tribunals and has specialist skills in leasehold enfranchisement.
Nicholas Tall (Intellectual Property, Technology & Commercial): Nicholas’ area of expertise focuses on media, IP, IT and commercial law. In particular, he undertakes work for a number of clients in TV production, rights acquisition and exploitation (such as character merchandising) and publishing – all areas in which Nicholas has previous in-house experience.
