City law firm Speechly Bircham LLP has advised the partners of Forensic Accounting LLP on the sale of their business to FTI Consulting, Inc. (FTI) for an undisclosed consideration consisting of cash and US stock.
Forensic Accounting is an independent specialist forensic accounting practice, based in London, providing accountancy-based expert witness and investigation services in disputes, regulatory enquiries and due diligence reviews. Its services are used by many leading law firms as well as private and public sector clients, and joining FTI will substantially enhance its international capabilities.
Speechly Bircham was selected to advise the LLP members, following a recommendation, because of the strength and depth of its expertise in dealing with M&A transactions involving partnerships and LLPs, and for its tax expertise.
