Experience:
William has a broad range of corporate finance, advisory and transactional expertise and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, buyouts, corporate reorganisations, joint ventures and debt and equity finance for UK and international corporates and banks. He is also a leading member of the firm's healthcare practice.
Recent experience includes:
- advising the partners of Forensic Accounting LLP on the sale of their business to NYSE-quoted FTI Consulting, Inc.
- advising London-based asset manager Sourcecap International Limited on its US$150m mandate from The Californian Public Employees’ Retirement System (CALPERS) and related equity participation in Sourcecap by CALPERS’ partner Legato Capital Management.
- advising The Royal Bank of Scotland plc on acquisition and development facilities for Renaissance Lifecare to finance the development of a retirement care village
- a full-time secondment to the Healthcare Team at The Royal Bank of Scotland plc
William joined the firm as a trainee and became a partner in 2008. He obtained his degree in French and Music at Goldsmiths' College, London.
