We work pragmatically to accommodate the technical issues thrown up by both new and old buildings.

Experience
Sale and leaseback portfolio of 62 major operational properties
Acting as lead real estate lawyers on behalf of Royal Bank of Scotland in the sale and leaseback of a portfolio of 62 properties to a consortium (the majority being acquired by Telereal). This involved restructuring and then disposing Coutts’ long leasehold interest at 440 The Strand, London with the Crown Estate.
Acquisition of Horseferry House, London SW1
Advising a subsidiary of Derwent London on this flagship redevelopment. The development was then pre-let to a major fashion retail house for a 25-year term at over £5 million per annum.
£180 million acquisition of 120 Holborn, London EC4
Advising an overseas-based client on the acquisition of this mixed-use office, retail, leisure and residential building.
£170 million sale and part leaseback of landmark HQ building in London, SW1 Advising on the property aspects of this sale and part leaseback, in an offshore special purpose vehicle (SPV), to a US real estate opportunity fund.
