We act for senior executives and have represented individuals in connection with employment claims in many sectors, in particular marketing services, financial services, consulting, charities, real estate/construction, education, retail, sport, media, transport, recruitment, IT, e-commerce, health and private wealth.  As well as acting for individuals, we have a strong track record in advising businesses and this enables us to give advice that takes account of both sides of the dispute. We have a great deal of experience of conducting high profile and difficult claims in the employment tribunal and the high court relating to discrimination, bonuses, team moves, restrictive covenants, and termination.  Also we assist individuals with their contract negotiations including the terms of sign on payments, bonuses and severance terms and we work with our tax and employee incentive team to ensure the terms agreed are tax effective and in line with accepted corporate governance and regulatory guidance.  Much of our work has an international dimension and we have expertise relating to business immigration and the formation of international contracts.

Successful high value phantom share option bonus and bonus disputes in complex corporate governance takeover code Competition Act context.

Sexual orientation
Successful negotiation of promotion, pay rise and career enhancement for a CEO who was victimised by overseas parent company.

Maternity discrimination
Negotiated exit from a media outfit of a senior executive who had been fired for sham redundancy reasons during her pregnancy. Early intervention secured a substantial payout without the need for proceedings.

Global partnership dispute
Acting for the former partner of a global professional firm in her substantial claim of sex discrimination and victimisation following her enforced retirement from the partnership.
