City law firm Speechly Bircham has advised Chrysalis Ventures on its further investment in Asterand plc, a leading provider of human tissue and human tissue-based services to pharmaceutical companies engaged in drug discovery research.
Asterand has completed a placement of 4.3 million ordinary shares with a nominal value of 5p each at a placing price of 15p each with existing shareholder Chrysalis Ventures, raising £645,000. This placing brings Chrysalis’ shareholding to 17,335,457 or 15.1%.
