City law firm Speechly Bircham is pleased to announce the appointment of the highly regarded Robert Thomas as a partner in its Employment group. Robert joins from Eversheds’ Cardiff office where he was a partner and former head of its Employment Law team. Robert’s arrival increases the number of employment lawyers to 15.
Ranked in the legal directories, Robert has over 25 years’ experience as an employment lawyer in all aspects of employment law. He acts for clients in a variety of industries, including finance, construction, local government, education, food and drink, electronics, sport and transport.
Robert is both trained as a solicitor and barrister. He practised as a barrister for more than ten years, before leaving Bristol's Guildhall Chambers to join Eversheds. He has appeared before the County Court, the High Court, the Employment Appeal Tribunal and the Court of Appeal.
